💷 Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum
🕒 Shifts: Various shift patterns available

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join a well-established and reputable HGV dealership in Portsmouth, operating multiple depots across the South East of England.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair HGVs and trailers to DVSA standards
• Carry out diagnostics using modern diagnostic equipment and manual fault-finding techniques
• Undertake MOT preparation and vehicle inspections
• Repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Complete accurate job cards and maintenance documentation
• Support workshop operations and help minimise vehicle downtime
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment

🧠 Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
• Team-focused, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
• Flexibility to work various shifts

⭐ Desirable

• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
• MOT Tester qualification
