Long Term Cover Supervisor - Doncaster

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and confident Cover Supervisor to join one of our valued partnership schools in Doncaster on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive secondary school environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of curriculum subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Ensure students remain focused and complete the work set
• Provide support and guidance to students where required
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
• Uphold safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people or within a school setting is desirable
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Confidence delivering lessons to groups of students
• Flexible, adaptable, and professional approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with staff and students
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
