Finance Manager

I’m working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Leeds that is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join its finance function. This is a key hire within the organisation as they continue to strengthen their financial capability and enhance operational performance.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and working closely with operational teams to support strong commercial decision-making in a hands-on environment.

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the site and providing clear, actionable insight to support business performance. Your duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, and rolling forecasts
• Delivery of accurate financial reporting, analysis, and commentary for senior leadership
• Management of cash flow, working capital, and cost control initiatives
• Business partnering with operational and manufacturing teams to improve efficiency and margins
• Supporting strategic decisions through financial modelling, analysis, and scenario planning
• Driving improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting standards
• Potential line management and development of junior finance staff

Candidate Requirements:

• ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or similar role
• Experience within manufacturing or a similarly relevant, operationally focused industry
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Confident communicator with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
