Management Accountant

Jackson Hogg is working with a key client in Stockton who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant into their finance team. You will support senior stakeholders with high-quality financial information and play a central part in the month-end process across multiple business units and/or client entities.
The role:
- Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts across assigned divisions/entities
- Producing accurate, insightful financial information for board-level and budget holder use
- Partnering with operational management and financial stakeholders, providing regular updates and analysis
- Ownership of sales and purchase ledger processes, including debt management
- Supporting and overseeing junior team members
- Leading on month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of statutory accounts, including audit support where required
- Acting as a key contact for external auditors
- Supporting cashflow management, forecasting and VAT returns
About you:
- Fully qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience producing management accounts and financial reporting packs
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including reconciliations and month-end processes
- Ability to deliver clear financial insights and build relationships with stakeholders
- Confident working both independently and as part of a wider team
