About the Role

We are looking for experienced fabricator welders with strong backgrounds in stainless steel fabrication and process pipework installation within the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors. The ideal candidate will be a time-served fabricator with proven experience in pipework and vessel fabrication. You should be capable of working independently, using your own initiative, and delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Workshop based fabrication, sheet metal work and welding
2. Site based fabrication, machinery and pipework installations in the process industry
3. Installing hygienic pipework, steam and condensate systems.
4. Primarily using TIG purge welding to deliver high-quality installations
5. Fabricating and installing access platforms, machinery guarding and process equipment
6. Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance tasks
7. Perform fabrication tasks in the workshop and on-site, ensuring excellent quality and efficiency
8. Assist in generating bills of materials, preparing RAMS, and purchase requisitions as needed

About you

1. Completion of a recognised qualification or time-served apprenticeship in a relevant trade.
2. Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication and process installations.
3. Significant experience in welding and fabrication, including pipework and bracketry
4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&ID’S
5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
6. Sound understanding of Health and Safety regulations and best practices.
